The groundbreaking – a bit early but the excitement was just too much already

After a good two years of planning, the time has finally come: the old house has been demolished and nothing stands in the way of the construction work – except for the availability of the construction companies. But to start building in spirit, we decided to have a small groundbreaking ceremony. We toasted with a double magnum of barrel 4 from the vinery Ott – thank you, Ali.

Balthasar Volcano made a brief appearance, but we did not succeed in photographing him. He probably wanted to use the beautiful evening to climb his local mountain, the Vormauer, and enjoy the sunset there.
